Christopher Maurice "Chris" Brown (born May 5, 1989) is an American R&B singer, rapper and actor. He made his recording debut in late 2005 with the self-titled album Chris Brown at the age of 16. The album featured the hit single "Run It!", which topped the Billboard Hot 100, making Brown the first male artist to have his debut single top the chart since Montell Jordan in 1995. The album has sold over two million copies in the United States and was certified double Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Brown's second studio album, Exclusive was released worldwide in November 2007. It spawned two successful singles; his second U.S. number one hit, "Kiss Kiss" featuring T-Pain and "With You", which peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100. Brown has released a deluxe version of his album called The Forever Edition. The first single from it, "Forever", was released in May 2008 and reached number two on Billboard Hot 100. Exclusive has been certified Platinum by the RIAA. The third studio album, titled Graffiti, was released on December 15, 2009. The first official single was "I Can Transform Ya", featuring Lil Wayne and Swizz Beatz, which peaked at number-twenty on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Brown's eighth Top 20 hit on that chart. In addition to his solo commercial success, Brown has been featured on several hits such as "No Air", a duet with singer Jordin Sparks, "Shortie like Mine" with the rapper Bow Wow and "Shawty Get Loose" alongside Lil Mama and T-Pain. The songs have peaked on number three, number nine and number ten on the Billboard Hot 100 respectively. Due to his dance routines, Brown has been compared to renowned R&B artists such as Usher and Michael Jackson, citing both as large influences on his music. In 2009, Brown pleaded guilty to felony assault of singer Rihanna, and was sentenced to five years probation and six months of community service.

"Look at Me Now" is a song by American recording artist Chris Brown, taken from his fourth studio album, F.A.M.E.. Featuring guest vocals from American rappers Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes, "Look at Me Now" was released as the second single from the album on February 1, 2011. The song was written by Jean Baptiste Kouame, Chris Brown, Diplo, and Afrojack."Look at Me Now" was produced by Diplo and Afrojack. According to Afrojack, the song is the product of a beat he passed along to Diplo. In an interview with MTV News, he said "Diplo called me ... [and] he was like, 'We are in the studio right now, and we are gonna do a track on the beat.' And I was like, 'OK, whatever. Have fun." On New Years Day 2011, Brown posted a link to the song via his Twitter account. It was then made available for download in the United States on February 1, 2011, and was sent to U.S. rhythmic radio on February 8, 2011. The song's music video was shot in Los Angeles on February 16, 2011 with director Colin Tilley, who had previously directed the music videos for "Yeah 3x" and "Deuces". Photos from the shoot were released online the next day, and showed Brown, Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes standing on top of an ambulance car in front of an industrial building. Another photo featured a DeLorean DMC-12 sports car from the 1985 film, Back to the Future. During an Ustream session, Lil Wayne spoke of the video, saying "It's a crazy video right now we shooting... Chris got a billion people dancing. He got these crazy contacts in. I would've put them in too, but I'm straight." An unofficial music video leaked online on March 9, 2011. In the video, Brown slips on a mirrored mask while singing inside of a giant birdcage, later linking up with Busta Rhymes, Lil Wayne and producer Diplo and throws a dance-off in a graffiti-showered parking garage. He also travels Back to the Future with the DeLorean DMC-12 sports car from the 1985 film. On the same day the video leaked, Brown tweeted that the official video would premiere on 106 & Park. American R&B singer Trey Songz released a Triggamix to the song in February 2011. Another remix features American rapper Twista, replacing Busta Rhymes' verse. Brown also released a solo version of the song. The official remix will feature Nicki Minaj, Twista, T-Pain, Trey Songz, & Ludacris. Female Rapper Shawnna released a Shemix to the song featuring her upcoming girl group GMG.
